Top: Tulle
Jacket: H&M
Pants: Banana Republic (pretty old)
Shoes, necklace: Forever 21
I wore a variation of this outfit on my second interview for my new job (I start next week). I’m not really a suit person. I prefer separates that I can mix and match for a professional look. Plus, this shirt is adorable, but I say that about all my clothes.
This is my blazer post for EBEW (everybody, everywear). Check out how others wore their blazers today…

Someone wanted to be a style blogger today. I set up the camera, and she was posing in my spot! I had to follow her wishes and post her photo. (She looks so little here! Let me assure you, she’s a chubby little monster.)

Yay for chubby kitties!!

Oh my god that cat! I love it! Must try to get Charlie to do this.
Of course I came over to say I love the blazer and the little elbow details.
LOL! Loafy is oddly patient, although she’s a little special needs (I’m serious).
the elbow patches (is that the right lingo?) on your blazer are fabulous! and the polka-dots and pearls under the blazer is genius – so classic and chic!
Love the patchwork detail on that blazer, I have been looking for one that like forever!
H&M!! I bought it a week or two before the 30×30 started, so I’m pretty sure they’re still there!
Kitty bomb! And she even has that blogger pout/signature look!
I agree about suits. I’m more of a separates person too. They are so much more fun to put together. And I firmly believe that a blazer makes anything work-appropriate!
Great blazer. Love the elbow patches!
There is nothing an academic loves like a blazer with elbow patches–so cute with the polka dots and pearls!
Cat pictures are always a good choice, and I love the elbow patches.
I love the outfit, but I miss the funky tights. I always think the day is just nicer if I wear tights, but than I AM crazy! Later!
I saw this blazer at H&M and I wanted it sooo bad but they didn’t have my size!!
It looks so FAB on you!!!
Elbow patches!!! YES! Haha! Love the look girl! And when will this stupid weather get better? seriously!

I’m so jealous that your blazer has elbow patches! This is a wonderful 2nd interview outfit. It is professional but still shows your personality.
The Auspicious Life
Ha..Love the cat!
I like your blazer and your shoes too!
Blazers with elbow patches are the best!
I agree with you, I like blazers the most when worn as separates, not matchy matchy. Get more mileage out of them to that way I suppose.
Congrats on your new job, by the way. I hope they like the patches as much as we do.
Love this look. your top and pearls look so good together.

Ooooh,Love it! Elbow patches the other item that looks great on women’s clothing. I really like this outfit on you!
Such a cute outfit. Elbow pads are amazing.
Oh those elbow patches are amazing! And I totally agree that this is a way better look than a full suit. It has so much more personality!
Loafy sure looks pretty, too
xo
I’m such a sucker for polka dots, I love that top!
That shirt really is adorable! And I love the elbow patches… no wonder you got the job!
SO JEALOUS of the elbow pads! Seriously I feel a huge whole in my closet now. You look awesome in these separates. I would totally hire you expecting to have way too much fun at work
the little bell she’s wearing is nearly as lovely as those pearls.

Ha! Your kitty is so cute right there.
Also, I love elbow patches! Well played.
I love that blazer paired with the adorable blouse! Too cute. And I saw your comment about your cat being special needs, mine is too! Like really special needs.
I second the chubby kitties. My big girl likes to pose with me when I take my outfit photos.
Loving the polka dots
I love the top. I love polka dots!
Good luck on your new job! I hope it will be fun and hope it compensate well.
And YAY for chubby cutesy monsters! ^^
