Hi, I’m Suze, and I am always having a great hair day. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I will amaze you with tales of stuff I like, stuff I wore, what my cats did to annoy me, and more! For those of you who know me in real life, nothing here will shock you, other than the fact that it’s just an online continuation of my cat-mama and nonprofit-writer life. For those of you who only know me online, or are just stumbling across this blog on a drunken rampage to find your friend Carlos, my apologies, and no, I don’t know anyone named Carlos.

I live in Ann Arbor, a lovely town in Michigan home to the University of Michigan, me, my cats, an alleged cougar, and the place I get my hair done, which is usually only once every four years (I’m a terrible person, I know).

The box has a hole. I covered it with a blanket. Ruckus has been sleeping in it for three hours. Dear Loaf is afraid of something...
My constant source of entertainment stems from the activities of my cats, Ruckus and Loafy (more formally known as Meatloaf, yes, she does have a new album coming out soon). If they’re not running into door walls, ripping lampshades or turning my favorite sweater into their new bed, something’s wrong. Seriously though, I love those little monsters, but it does get tiresome to try to keep them from eating anything and everything around the house. It’s like I have two toddlers who just learned to walk, except these two are furry, have claws and are VERY bitey.

My dream job would be to write a book. I’m working on it, if you count a blank notebook with the title “Suze’s book” in permanent marker a work in progress (I do!). But, let’s face it, the time I usually set aside to work on my future award-winning novella is usually frittered away on Pinterest or watching cartoons. Pinterest will be the death of us all (or at least will lead us all into a lawsuit).

Although, I suppose because I’m part of a royal family, alleged lawsuits may not matter. My sister is a queen (not of the drag variety, although that would be fun!), which makes me the Dutchess of Fancypants, Esquire. Or so says my friend Carrie. Because Cher (my sister, not the singer) looked so fantastic in the dress I bought for her royal highness, I have to share this photo here:

I’m totally adopted, I know.

Well, there you go. Me, this blog, my cats, and everything else in a nutshell.

  1. Yay! I like this about page. :) You and your husband is so cute together! I like the pictures especially the last picture too (I agree with agentnikita ^^). I guess Loafy & Ruckus should be here somewhere too! LoL ^^

  2. I found your blog through your comment /entry in my style blog FabGabBlog.com. Cute blog! I’m originally from Mi too (Bay City).
Anyways, if you’re looking for more bloggers to feature, please consider me!
    thanks,

    • Thank you! I am actually naturally blonde. I dye my hair using Loreal Feria #74, deep copper.
It’s very bright for the first few days, but will slowly fade.
I also only wash my hair twice a week, using dry shampoo the other days. It helps the color to last longer, at least for me!

      • so funny, I am a blonde too and dye my hair red using the exact same color. I just discovered dry shampoo and it rules! definitely helps with prolonging the inevitable fade! Love your blog by the way!
