COMPENSATION
The only form of monetary compensation accepted is via sponsorship. I do not accept payment for product reviews, or giveaways (without sponsorship), but may accept products (which also complies with FTC guidelines). Any post or tweet that makes mention of any business (sponsor or non-sponsor) is because I choose to mention them, NOT because they paid for it. All content is written without prejudice or bias, regardless of sponsor or non-sponsor affiliation. I do not accept sponsored posts or sponsored tweets- at all, for any reason.

GIVEAWAYS
Giveaways may be hosted by a sponsor or non-sponsor (see an example of a giveaway here). Giveaways are hosted on a first-come, first-serve basis. I only agree to host giveaways from companies I either shop at, or can afford to shop at, and that fits with the mission of my blog (budget-friendly style). I reserve the right to refuse to host any giveaway due to strict entry requirements (posting this, retweeting that, etc).  If you’d like more information about hosting a giveaway, please email me at vinylahoy (at) gmail.com.

PRODUCT REVIEWS
Sometimes, I’ve been contacted to review a product, and a company will send me an item to review. The complementary item will not influence my review in any way. If something doesn’t fit, look right, falls apart, etc, I will always be honest. I reserve the right to choose not to post a negative review, instead directly contacting that company. Just because someone sends me something to review does not guarantee it will show up on my blog.

COURTESY OF ITEMS
Due to sponsorships or reviews, I may be sent an item from a company. These items were [usually] chosen by me, and are items I can afford on my own. I would never accept an item I cannot afford, or that is not within my own budget. All items will be listed at “c/o” in their post, and if still available for purchase, with a link to the item or shop.

AFFILIATE LINKS
Currently, I do not participate in any affiliate programs.  Be assured, if you click on any link on my blog, I don’t many any money off of it, so click to your heart’s content!

TEXT LINKS
I do not sell or exchange text links in my blog roll, posts or anywhere else on my blog.

SPONSORED POSTS
I do not accept any type of sponsored post. Believe me, they’ve been offered before. But this blog is my opinion, and my opinion alone. I may do interviews of other bloggers, of shop owners or of random other people, but the write-up is from me, not them, and it’s because I requested information from them. If I blog about something, it’s because I like it, not because someone fed me the post.

Banner ads are the only forms of advertising available.

SPONSORSHIP
The only type of sponsorship offered on this blog is banner ads. As stated above, I do not participate in affiliate links, text link exchanges or sponsored posts. All sponsorships inquires go through me, and I reserve the right to choose to accept a sponsor, or not accept a sponsors based on their shop, policies, products and price level. If the shop doesn’t fit with my blog or mission, I will not accept the sponsorship. (And I have turned some down). In most cases, my sponsors are places I have shopped at, currently shop at, or (in cases such as photographers) are people or organizations I have worked with.
